 Rear Closure type

Type of rear closure of the cover: a roll is provided as standard which is unrolled manually and fixed with elastic bands to the rear edge, but it is also possible to choose an automatic version for faster opening/closing.

Roll (standard)

Manual and economical system, in the case of transporting rocks it is often left rolled up

CHPA Automatic Closure

Automatic system, more practical but more expensive, generally used on the ELETTA/MCA/SIGILLO systems.

 Side Tarpaulin Finishing

The finishing of the side part of the tarpaulin: it can be flush with the edge or hermetic

Flush Withe the Edge

The cover rests on the lateral edges without covering them (leaving a small space between the tarpaulin and the upper part of the edge), more practical in opening and closing, used for rocks

Hermetic (13 cm)

The tarpaulin descends for about 13 cm slightly covering the upper part of the edge, suitable for transporting powders/lime

 Side Hooking System

The side hooks are used to keep the cover firmly attached to the body while travelling and in the case of strong winds

Automatic “L” hooks

The automatic windproof lashing system with L-shaped hooks firmly secures the tarp to the load box. During closure, the L-shaped hooks engage automatically with the eyelets mounted on the side walls of the load box

Swinging hooks

The windproof lashing system with swinging hooks secures to the side rails, if present, or to Z-guides , and holds the cover in place along its entire length, even when open

Roller-type hooks

The windproof system with POM roller hooks secures the cover to the load box when it is closed. The vertical position of the roller is adjustable to fit on load boxes with upper edges of any shape.

Safety elastic straps

The windproof system with elastic straps secures the cover to the sides using a standard kit that includes strong plastic “cobra” hooks, carabiners, lashings with elastic bands and cords (the number varies based on the length of the load box)

 tarp lifting supports

System that allows the tarp to be lifted during the covering packing phase

Compass-type tarp lifting supports

When opening the cover, the tarp must be lifted and folded correctly so as not to drag inside the load box where it can become dirty or be damaged by the load

PE profile tarp supports

This extremely flexible white HDPE profile is inserted into a sleeve running the entire length on the sides of the tarp and can be used as an alternative to compass-type lifts to meet the most varied functional requirements.

 Covering System Type

MCA

Functional and robust, MCA is the most traditional of covering systems for quarry and construction vehicles. It is also used in the agricultural sector. With a front attachment to the cab guard or front wall, it is particularly suitable for rear and three-way tipper bodies.

Eletta® has unique features on the market. A patented covering system, designed for vehicles without space between the load body and the driver’s cab. It is installed on the cab guard and is ideally suitable for rear and three-way tipper bodies.
Available in both Electric and Manual

SIGILLO

The Sigillo covering system can be installed at the front of the cab guard or directly on the front wall. It is particularly suited to rear-tipping load bodies but also works for swap bodies.
Available in both Electric and Manual
